By now you should be working on your first robotic program in RoboPro. This is a much easier interface than the Lego program we used to use and it is very intuitive (easy to figure out). That is as long as you know the trick of right clicking on the icon so that you can change its settings. There are different icons for different things. Anything that turns on like a motor, light, or the electromagnet uses the motor icon. Any time control uses the hourglass icon. Switches are the diamond icon and creates two separate paths. You have to complete both paths.
Once you have your program ready you have to download it and test it. While one person was working on the program their partner should be building the machine to do the task. There is not one way to do the task, you must come up with your own machine design to do the task.
