This week you actually built circuits using the breadboard. Breadboards (yes that's a nickname) are designed with lots of rows of metal bars that are accessed using the tiny holes punched in the board. It is organized so that there are three double rows for your power source. These rows are nicknamed "Main Street"; lots of horizontal rows running from one main street to the other, and the "river" or a gap where the metal bars under the horizontal rows do not run.
Breadboards are very useful to electricians that design circuits because they can see whether or not the circuits will work without having to have lots of wires clipped together or soldering up a circuit for real just to find out it didn't work.
The simple circuits we made this week would have been easier just using wires with alligator clips on each end. But what if we had to use more than just three light bulbs? What if we had to use twenty electronic parts, or hundreds like on a computer circuit board? Once you get past four or five parts to connect you really start to appreciate the use of the breadboard. Something you will start to see over the next two weeks.

that will be cool i mean if we could work in something like that; and yeah i guess that is easier use that stuff, just use wires with alligator clips. I think that over the 2 weeks we'll see and learn useable things.
it was F.U.N and i got a chance to build and discover another talent.
i re4ally didn't do that good on my bord. He had to help me with most of (all) of mine.

at first it was hard because i didnt knw how to put them or how to do them but than they showed me how & i got the hang of it & i leanred how to do it ;; but other than that i think i did okay ;;;
It seem kinda had to do and it was hard to do at first, but then it simple to do.
i did pretty good,this project was a kool project. it was intresting. i realy liked it.
the mother boards were confusing to begin with. not a whole lot of direction or help with the drawing. it realy needs more detail.
